Martin is a retired communications manager who served in related roles at Public Service of New Hampshire, the New Hampshire Bar Association and New Hampshire Public Radio. He has served as Bow Open Spaces Public Relations Director for more than 15 years.

His favorite hikes include the Woods and Boundary Trails in the Knox Town Forest and regular visits to Great Hill in the Nottingcook Town Forest. He is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran and has lived in Bow since 1996.
