Andrew Richardson Easement
In 2011, the Town of Bow’s Conservation Commission secured a conservation easement on Andrew Richardson’s property, situated adjacent to Walker Forest to the north and Hammond Preserve to the south. Covering an area of approximately 33 acres, this easement was later assigned to Bow Open Spaces by the Conservation Commission. Accessible to the public, the Andrew Richardson Property can be reached from Walker Forest or Hammond Preserve via the Eagle Trail, suitable for both foot and mountain bike travel. The land boasts diverse features, including challenging variable terrain and wetlands, providing a unique and engaging outdoor experience for visitors. This conservation effort ensures the preservation and accessibility of this natural landscape for the benefit of the community and future generations.
